Project Personality by Kelly Blount and Lynn Rush

What a cute story! A good hearted smart girl and cute and popular boy who has an unfortunate secret take turns telling the story as they work on a project together! Hope is so smart like MIT smart and also hilarious and she doesn’t even know it! Landon starts to see her warm and genuine personality and the attraction starts to build up but, even as charismatic as he is, he thinks he is not good enough for her.

I liked that it was not just a love story but has some real relationship and life lessons like self acceptance, healing from trauma, joy in helping each other and trusting people with a second chance. Even though these characters were in high school, I could relate to their struggles and heart breaks because these issues still exist in adult life as well. I wish I had this book when I was at high school!

It was so easy to read and I wanted more and more of their story! Did Hope get into MIT? How about Landon? I am so ready for the sequel! I think I want to read the first and third book of this series too!

I want to thank NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for approving my request for ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
