Can you believe this? I used to hate reading. Ever since I moved to US, I stopped reading for fun because it was not fun anymore. Why? Everything I had to read was in English which is my second language. Have you ever read a book in Korean or Chinese when you are not Korean or Chinese? You get it. Reading in English requires so many parts of my brain to function together simultaneously, and let me tell you it was painful and not easy. But something changed in my head after going through some rough time past 7 years, and now I found the joy of reading! How is this possible? 😂
