Ok this is going to be my holiday read : The Plight before Christmas by Kate Stewart. It’s holiday romance-com, ‘an un-ex-pected romantic dramedy’ 😊 🤞 I only read one chapter so far and I’m gonna read more during Thanksgiving break. Can it be a reading staycation? Can BnN build a hotel with the biggest bookstore and cafe so ppl can have a bookcation and book themed dining and merch?? 🙏

오늘 드디어 지난번에 주문한 한강 작

오늘 드디어 지난번에 주문한 한강 작가에 책들을 받았다. 노벨상 소식을 듣고나서 온라인으로 주문했으니 한국에서부터 오는데 거의 15일 걸렸다. 상자를 열자마자 보였던건 표지에 쓰인 노벨 문학상 수상작 문구. 그걸 보고 아.. 새로 인쇄한거구나 했다. 오더 하면서 수상 전에 인쇄된 책이었으면 했는데… 뉴스를 보고 그럴 가망이 없다는걸 알았지만, 그래도..
그다음 한건 책표지를 보고 하나 하나 손으로 느껴보면서 혹시 손상되었는지 표지 코너들을 체크하면서 이게 사진으로 보던 그 책이구나 했다. 그다음 책들이 언제 인쇄했는지를 체크해봤다. 모두 10월 중순에서 말에 인쇄된 따끈따끈한 책들이었다. 하나는 내 생일에, 하나는 우리 할머니 생일에, 하나는 어제 😅😅 등등.
그중 처음 읽기로한 책은 시집. 서랍에 저녁을 넣어두었다.
고등학교때는 시를 참 좋아했었는데 그때 만큼의 감성은 없지만 이제 다시 시를 읽어봐야겠다. 과연 얼마나 이해할수 있을까?
